ABOUT ABOUT

Dear Friend of the Arts:

I would like to extend a most cordial invitation to our Caceria & Tequila Fiesta. Join the Laredo Center for the Arts on Saturday, October 3, 2015 for a night of exotic food, art, and drinks! Our Caceria and Tequila Fiesta will feature exotic gourmet dishes concocted by celebrated chefs from our finest local restaurants and businesses that will tease and tantalize the palate.  Participating businesses and restaurants include IBC Bank, La Posada Hotel, Laredo Energy Arena, Chano’s Patio, Border Foundry, Emperor Garden, Tokyo Garden, and Rocha’s El Catan.  Culinary enthusiasts will savor exotic food samplings such as fried frog legs with creole honey mustard, wild boar po-boys, and Cantonese roast duck while sipping on various tequilas and other spirits.  Guests will dance the night away to live musical entertainment provided by Laredo’s very own, Calle 8 Repertoire.  Patrons of the Arts will  have access to a Wildlife Art Exhibit especially curated for the night.  Participating Artists include Pancho Farias, Arturo Nochebuena, Joe Olivares, Frank Ortega, Anselmo Sanchez, Hector Rodriguez, and Ernesto Sanchez.  Tickets for this event are $50 per person.  Ticket prices include dinner and an open bar.

Proceeds raised will be used to promote all LCA educational programming and cultural events. This fundraiser will allow the LCA to continue growing with new and exciting cultural events that serve to inspire, motivate and entertain Laredoans and visitors. What is most gratifying is the endless possibilities for our future. Our children have a place where their creativity and imagination can be nurtured, developed and preserved.

Please feel free to call me at anytime if you have any questions at (956) 725-1715 or come by the Center at 500 San Agustin Avenue, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thank you in advance for helping us keep the arts alive in Laredo.

Sincerely,

Rosie Santos
Executive Director
